  • Download Programing language translation of a large HP internal testing application from DEC Pascal to C.

  • Platform migration and further development of a geographic information system. Redesign of the GIS kernel of 1 M lines C code and implementation on Digital UNIX; subsequent porting of the applications to WNT and W95. 8 man-years.
  • Documentation reconstruction of a Marketing database of 20,000 COBOL / SQL statements, re-implementation and further development of the applications in C. 5 man-years.
  • Porting of a networked Power-plant control system from VMS to Digital UNIX. Conversion of 500,000 lines of PASCAL to C. Human interface redesign. Internationalization including support of UNICODE character sets. 17 man-years.
  • Migration of a networked pre-press system of a major International consortium from VAX/VMS to Windows NT. The project included architectural re-design, adding functionality like the ability to read VMS file structures under NT, and migration tools for the installed base of its 500 worldwide customers. 6 man-years.
  • Migration of multiple real-time control systems from PDP11/RSX to Alpha/UNIX for the European plant of a major Japanese photographic products manufacturer. 7.5 man-years.
  • Year 2000 date problem analysis, code repair, migration to OpenVMS/Alpha and on-site testing of 12 business critical applications for a national PTT in Scandinavia. 5 man-years.
  • Design and implementation of ARCNET drivers under Digital UNIX; application consulting.
  • Application migration to OpenVMS of 10 M lines of code (C, RdB) for a major Swiss bank.
  • Architectual design & implementation of the OpenVMS emulation layer to be used in the migration to Windows NT for the Medical Systems Division of a large European multinational corporation. 4 man-years.
  • Migration of a real-time process control system for an oil refinery in the Middle East from PDP-11 systems to Digital Alpha, using the CHARON-11 emulator and bus adapters to retain the IP-11 process control systems.
  • Development of emulator extensions to support PDP-11 code under UNIX on embedded systems for photographic typesetting for a European Optical products manufacturer.
  • Year 2000 date corrections on a Cobol OpenVMS platform for a government organization in the Middle East.
  • High performance data acquisition & transfer device drivers development for OpenVMS and Windows NT platforms for a large multinational corporation. 2 man-years.
