Geneva,
Switzerland; 12 October 2001 Stromasys has established
its first representative office in the United
Kingdom to reflect its growing activity
in migration services and products beyond
continental Europe and the USA. Stromasys is represented by
MCE Ltd in Salisbury, UK, a company that
provides business and technical consulting
services to both information technology
suppliers and end user clients.
MCE was founded in 1997; its
international clients include Sema Group,
Intergraph and SAP AG, and works with these
clients and their customers. Its staff members
have more than 20 years experience in business
to business consulting, including SAP certification,
with backgrounds from such companies as
Digital Equipment Corp, Harris Corp., Honeywell
and ICL.
Says Ian Wallace, the CEO
of MCE; "The portfolio of products
and services provided by Stromasys is an excellent match for
the market needs in the United Kingdom.
In these days of cost savings and staff
reductions, the ability to deliver turnkey
software migration services at very competitive
rates provide a unique solution for companies
who need to quickly adjust to market demands
with an overloaded in-house staff and reduced
budgets".
Robert Boers, the CEO of Stromasys, commented: "In
MCE we find an ideal partner to quickly
deploy our services in the United Kingdom.
The profile of their customer base and their
experience matches well with the services
we offer in other parts of the world. In
addition, the UK market has a large installed
base of legacy systems by Digital Equipment,
for which we have a comprehensive portfolio
of migration tools and services."
Stromasys
specializes in helping companies to preserve
their legacy software investments by providing
re-engineering and porting services as well
as VAX and PDP-11 emulation, adaptation
and conversion products. Stromasys is headquartered in Geneva,
Switzerland, and has sales offices in the
Benelux, France, Germany, Sweden, the UK
and North America. |
