CHARON Customer and Reseller Training, November 13-14, 2007

Geneva, Switzerland - Stromasys is pleased to announce the next CHARON training for its Value Added Resellers (VAR) and customers during November 13-14, 2007 in Geneva, Switzerland (city info: www.geneva.ch). Experienced instructors will cover the complete family of CHARON-VAX and CHARON-AXP products.

Objectives of the Training:

During the course of the two days training, the following subjects will be covered:

    • Company Overview, Stromasys
    • The training will focus on CHARON-VAX products /XM, /XL, /XK, /66x0 and CHARON-AXP for Windows. Participants will receive a temporary CHARON-VAX/XM Plus for Windows license to be used for the practical sessions during the training.
    • Installation
    • Parameterization, configuration file
    • Application and data transfer to host system
    • Clustering
    • Hands-on experience
    • Hints (all you wanted to know about CHARON, but did not dare to ask)
    • Qs & As
    • Overview of the CHARON-VAX family of products, including how to sell CHARON-VAX; Customer benefits, licensing, pricing and competition
    • Short introduction to the CHARON-AXP products, the Alpha emulators
    • Meet Stromasys' management, Representatives and VARs, discuss, feedback
    • Wrap-up, Feedback to the training

Prerequisites:

The participant should be familiar with Digital Equipment Corporation’s VAX and ALPHA family of computers and their operating systems, peripherals, terminology, and at least some user level experience with the VMS operating system. The participants should understand the target host system, Windows XP or 2003 Server Standard Edition. The participants will bring an adequate personal Laptop PC with a USB port running Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition or Windows XP on which they will install CHARON-VAX.

The training will start at 09:00 on Tuesday, November13th. It will end on Wednesday, Nov. 14th, at 16:00.

There is a shuttle going to the hotel from the airport every 20 minutes.

Hotel Reservation:

Hotel reservation is the participant’s responsibility. The NH Geneva Airport Hotel can provide rooms. The price is around CHF 220.00 per person per night including breakfast. Early booking is vital as hotels are busy in Geneva. Travel Arrangements:

Travel arrangements are the participant’s responsibility.

Cost:

The training is free of charge for Stromasys’ Representatives and Value Added Resellers or candidate VARs, up to three participants per company. Other participants’ price is € 1’500. – per person. The travel and hotel costs are to be covered by the participants.
