Geneva,
Switzerland; 15 November 2001 — Stromasys has appointed Dogan
Baser as of December 1, 2001 to the newly
created position of Marketing and Sales
Director.
In this position, he will
be responsible for the strongly growing
cross-platform migration projects and the
expanding network of representatives and
partners that sell the comprehensive migration
services and products of Stromasys. In addition, Dogan will promote
and expand the migration services portfolio
in both our direct and indirect channels.
Dogan Baser brings in considerable technical,
sales, marketing and management experience.
Before joining Stromasys, Dogan Baser was the Country
Manager of VIA NET.WORKS Switzerland, a
multinational business ISP and Network Integrator.
Prior to his role at VIA, Dogan worked as
Managing Director for SurfEU, a multinational
ISP located in Zurich, which became the
fastest growing Swiss ISP.
Dogan started his career as
a software engineer and project manager
in Brown Boveri and in Digital Switzerland.
He co-launched and was DEC's Services Manager
in Turkey, started and managed AT&T
Turkey, and was StorageTek's Solution Business
manager for Central Europe. Dogan studied
Electrical Engineering in Switzerland and
speaks four languages. He is married and
has two sons.
