Support for CERNER Classic Solutions on CHARON

In 2006, Cerner Corporation extended the support of its OpenVMS-based healthcare information technology (HIT) solution Classic to CHARON systems.

Cerner’s Classic archive solution currently supports a restore environment for clients wishing to have on-line access to their historical information for their Classic environment but not wanting to continue to support their current VAX or Alpha platform.
